Janine draws on a background in advertising / strategic planning where, for over a decade she bridged conceptual ideas with an interest in human behaviour, cultural dynamics and media consumption. She has worked with ad agencies in New York, Bangkok, Toronto and Paris on numerous local and international brands.

She has exhibited in the CONTACT Photography Festival (2009) and had her experimental film debut with the COMMFFEST Film Festival in Toronto (2009). Collaborative videoart installations have subsequently been shown in alternative venues such as the Coupe Bizarre Hair Salon Toronto for nuit blanche (2009) and the Berkley Church Toronto (2009) for an arts education gala fundraiser. Most recently, she exhibited mixed media work at ‘Insomnia,’ a group show at the Red Head Gallery in Toronto (2010).
